What is a Mega Member?

A Mega Member is an individual or household who is a part of a group of Mega shoppers interested in obtaining quality products at the lowest price and at the same time being eligible for additional benefits.

Mega Foods currently has 30,000 Mega Members and is still growing. By becoming a Mega Member you are part of a cooperative. We take pride in rewarding our loyal shoppers with benefits and privileges only available to our Mega Members.

What are the benefits of a Mega Membership?

• Everyday discounts on the items you purchase most:
  • Save an additional 10 cents/gallon on milk purchased at Mega Foods or any Mega Express.
  • Save an additional 5 cents on each dozen eggs purchased at Mega Foods.
  • Save 10 cents on Mega label bread located in the commercial bread aisle at Mega Foods.
  • Receive a discount on oil changes at Mega Lube.
  • Save on gas by using your Mega Miles Reward Points (MMRP).
• Receive special check cashing privileges at any Mega Foods service desk.
• Member-only savings throughout the year as part of Mega Member special events, including Mega Member Mondays on the first Monday of each month (Date subject to change if a holiday falls on or near the first Monday of a month – Check store for date changes).
• The potential for a year end refund on your purchases at Mega Foods, Mega Express and Express Care/Mega Lube.

What is the cost of a Mega Membership?

There is a one time fee of $10.00 to become a purchasing member. Each member must purchase eligible goods or services from any of our Mega Foods, Mega Express or Express Care/Mega Lube facilities in the minimum amount of $500 per fiscal year (October-September).

In addition, one may choose to be a stockholder, with voting rights when spending limits are met, for $100 (This is a non-dividend bearing stock and can only be sold back to the company at par value).

How are purchases recorded for potential year end refunds?

Members of your household, that you authorize to carry a card, simply have the card scanned at the point of check out each time they visit any Mega location. You increase your savings and ultimately any eligible refund by presenting your card.

How do I sign up to be a Mega Member?

Complete a simple application. Choose one member of your household to be the Mega Member and list any other household members to be eligible to use your card.

Where do I return the completed application and fee?

• Mail (check only) to the Member Services Director at Mega East - PO Box 3155 Eau Claire, WI 54702
• Return to the Service Counter at any Mega Foods supermarket (payable by cash or check)
• Return to a cashier at any Mega Express location (payable by cash or check).
• Return to the Member Services Office at Mega East (payable by cash or check).
